Whiti Farm park was first established in 1992 and was previously known as "Whitianga Farm Park".
We bought the property in 2002. Then got stuck into a major refurbishing project - fencing, draining, scrub clearing, gardening and re-grassing. We sanded and painted and worked all the hours that
God sent, to resurrect the Park to its former glory. We spruced up the toilet facilities, improved the car parking, built a shed to house the smaller creatures, and an indoor tropical garden. We collected over 50 different species of farmyard, exotic and domesticated animals/birds and reptiles and rebranded ourselves as "Whiti Farm Park"On the 15th of December 2007 we re-opened the new and improved park for the first time and have
not looked back since. Every year our visitor number increase; we see many return visitors as well
as new visitors to the Peninsula. We have grandparents who return every school holidays with
their grandchildren and many families have made a visit to Whiti Farm Park a tradition they look
forward to every summer holidays.
